ABOUT
I am a versatile leader who prides himself on putting others first and always adding value.
Growing up, my father always stressed the idea of not becoming just a “consumer.” I didn’t realize what this meant until I was in my early twenties and finally broke down to ask “Dad, what the hell does that mean?!?!” He explained the value of added value to others and your surroundings, and to not just “take” from the situation you’re in. Ever since, I’ve dedicated my life and time to others by mentoring, volunteering, and going above and beyond for friends, family, and strangers alike.

I am an esteemed graduate of DePaul University, where I double majored in Finance and Operations Management. I am also a product of Northwestern University, graduating from their Leadership and Communications Master’s program.

I currently serve as the Director of Finance for Fresenius Kabi, one of the world’s leading producers of generic pharmaceuticals. I manage over $2 billion in annual revenue and serves as a thought leader to the CFO and Board of Directors.

When not tending to my corporate obligations, I’m an active volunteer with Teach for America and serve on the associate board for Special Olympics USA. I formerly served as Vice President of the Board for Chicago Gateway Green, helping to raise $3 million through various events and partnerships. During this time, I secured five and six figure partnerships with Bank of America, ABT Electronics, the Chicago Bulls and White Sox, and Fletcher Jones Mercedes of Chicago.
Recently I launched a non-profit, Build For Unity, an organization that focuses on rehabbing and constructing affordable housing in areas that allow for better diversity and better education options. I was fortunate to grow up both on the Southside of Chicago and in Evanston, so I truly understand the value of safety, foundation, and solid education.

As I continue to grow my social entrepreneurship efforts, I will continue to utilize my platform to remind people to look beyond themselves and help each other by any means necessary. I strive to impart the change in communities that unites, and will always find ways not to ever become just a consumer.
